Il y a des rencontres que l'on n'oublie jamais. Philippe a été le professeur de guitare de Kinan, à Nice (France). J'envoie mes pensées à Thavone, aux enfants et à tous les amis de cet homme chaleureux et talentueux. Sylvie

Philippe was my daughter's guitar teacher. He was such a warm, happy, comfortable person, you couldn't help but smile when you were around him. He was a great man and was loved by so many. I am so sorry Thavone, Jade, and Cookie.

Always the jokester! I remember my first lesson walking through the halls of the church looking for him, not even knowing what he looked like. There were kids and adults everywhere, but this tall blonde guy was standing in a doorway, and asked me if I was looking for someone...I said yes, Philippe, for a lesson, and he replied, "keep looking - he's here somewhere." That was Philippe, full of mischief and wry humor, and I felt privileged to have known such a talented but humble man and his wonderful family.

Phillipe and I met years ago artistically. He was unique living being easy to feel his energy. He wanted to work on a project he had in mind and we pursued his desires for the project for a but. One special night in ny theatre.....he and another friend on drums shared a private evening of music....it was a special evening and the last time i would see him in this life. He touched my life like so many others......much love brotha!!!

My condolences on Philippe's passing. He and I only spoke over the phone in 2011before I was to tour in Texas. We planned to break bread and share music, but our schedules did not work. I'm very sorry that he and I could not make it happen. He lived a life of music and his music was full of life.
Best wishes to Philippe's family.

Philippe was that rare kind of person who brings smiles and positive energy everywhere he goes, on the same time, he was a wise good man and a real friend. Not to mention his awesome guitar playing full of feeling and magic. Sometimes I wish this was just one of his funny jokes...but apparently it's not... It's not easy to accept when this happens to a special person like him, but the thing I know for sure, is that we will bring forever with us his memory and we will feel his extraordinary energy with us all the time. You are gonna be in my heart, in my smile and in my music forever my brother and I'm sure one day we will jam together again with our guitars like last year at NAMM... but I hope we won't do the same disaster as we did last year! :) I will love you forever bro and I will never forget... all my love to the family, count on me if you will ever need anything...
