I often think back to my childhood days spent at my grandma's apartment, where the air was always filled with the sweet aroma of baking. I can still picture her in the kitchen, expertly mixing ingredients while I eagerly hovered nearby, sneaking bites of the cookie dough. Her peanut butter cookies were legendary, with a perfect balance of sweetness and that rich, nutty flavor that made them irresistible. I would watch in awe as she rolled the dough into perfect balls, pressing them down with a fork to create those iconic crisscross patterns. Those moments were filled with laughter and warmth, and I will always cherish the memories of her baking. I miss those days dearly, especially the joy of sharing those warm cookies fresh from the oven, a simple pleasure that brought us so close together.
