With a sudden heart I send my deepest condolences to the entire family of Floyd. May God bring peace and love to all of you during this time of grief. Floyd was a great person. I have known him for several years. I will miss our long talks and friendship more than you will ever know. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. May God put his hand on each and everyone of you and give you peace. If anyone needs anything I'm right here for any of you. Floyd and I chose to be Bro and Sis not by birth but by choice. Floyd my heart grieves for the loss of you. God's blessings to all of you. Bro I know I will see you again some day. Until then I love you and will miss you. Blessings to all of his family and friends. Glenda Darter

My favorite memory of Floyd is when I was pregnant with my son and since our last name is Simon he insisted that we name him Alvin Theodore Simon… we ended up not going with that awesome name and went with Connor Jackson Simon. But Floyd said I won’t call him that to me that boys name is Alvin Theodore Simon. My son knew when Floyd said that name he was talking to him. He never called him Connor in 13 years it was always the name he chose for him.

To the Brown Family:
So sorry for your loss, Floyd was a diehard Rawstinite, loved to dance with all the ladies, very respectful towards the married one's, always asking permission from the spouse to dance with her. He will be missed.
