It has been over a year since we lost Keith, and heaven gained another believer. Keith gave us all more than we can measure. Today I remember his words of advice last Fall: Love one another, God's salvation is a gift, Trust in the Lord, Never worry, Never feel guilty; and the words he heard from our Lord: Give me your pain, give me your fear, I am with you.
Miss you, Keith,
-Steel

Sending my deepest sympathy to keith's family. A lifetime of a friendship that I am forever grateful for....A memory that I'd like to share is when keith and Kenny were babies; my grandmother Kathryn Kiesecker would help take care of them When we started school and rode the bus each day would begin our friendship. It is comforting to know keith is in his Heavenly home and will be waiting for us all....
Love and frienship always, Renae Hoover

Keith was a wonderful classmate to all of us from the class of 1967. We grew up in a small farming community in Webster City, Iowa and we were fortunate to have a close relationship with all our classmates. Keith was the vice-president our class and he always had a kind word to say to everyone. Keith enjoyed the class reunions and participated by being our MC for the evening.
I remember going out to the family farm eating ice cream, and playing catch. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion Post 191 boys drill team/chorus. This was only drill team in the state of Iowa. Keith in later years told me when he went for his military training and the drill sergeant commented how he had perfected the military drill. Keith said that was because of the boys drill team.
Keith I will miss you, but know I will see you again. Mike Bashford

Keith and I enjoyed supporting, coaching and watching our kids play sports, some together and then also competitively. We worked together on Carroll ISD bond issues elections. Keith was generous with his time and his commitment to his family, community and God. The area and community is a better place thanks to Keith, his constant support, involvement and good cheer. We will miss him and remember his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Keith and I shared much laughter! Every time he came to Des Moines we had to eat Maidrites and it didn't matter what time of day it was! We also would go to Noah's restaurant for pizza...his favorite was Canadian bacon and pineapple! In addition to all the times he beat me in golf, we shared a wonderful time on the "WHO Tractor Ride." Keith convinced me to buy a tractor and take my Dad! It was a time I will always cherish. Keith touched a lot of lives and will be missed as an unforgettable character! He lived life well and made a difference! Rest in peace my friend!

Keith was a huge Vikings fan and knowing how much I loved the Bears he somehow connived tickets for my Son Greg and I to one of their home games. We met at Keith's home before the game and visited for a time and I started to worry about arriving at the dome what with late traffic that I envisioned and about parking. I kept watching my watch and finally Keith decided it was time to head out.
He had more shortcuts to avoid speed limit signs and in know time we pulled up in a parking lot about 20 feet from the stadium entrance. We passed in front of the press boxes and right in the middle of the biggest Viking fans found anywhere. He whispered to us the crowd would be a little hostile to me a Bear fan and son Greg a huge Cowboy fan. He was right we were right in the middle of the Vikings fans and at one point one of them who had figured out we were Bear fans whispered to me that they had not had a very good season and they had just signed Hershal Walker and he wasn't having a very good start be he did that day!
Greg and I still talk about that experience and we wouldn't trade it for anything! He and his twin brother were very generous to Greg and I as Ken invited us down to Scotsdale AZ for golf, a preseason Cubs game. It was Dusty Bakers first game as coach for the Cubs.
These two wonderful cousins were so generous and loving to our whole family I will never forget their generosity!!. and loyalty to the Bell family reunions in Webster City or Blairsburg Iowa.
Our family would like to offer our greatest condolences to the Vegors family we will miss Keith as we share the family sorrow.
With Love and Respect
The family of Bill Grove
