Douglas L. "Doug" Carman, 55, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015. Service: 2 pm Monday, Founders Chapel, First United Methodist Church, 422 Church St., Grapevine. Visitation 12 noon - 2 pm Monday, Founders Chapel First United Methodist Church. Celebration of Life: Immediately following service, Elks Lodge, Grapevine. Doug was born on May 8, 1959 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Daune and Ruth Carman. He loved to hunt, fish, go boating or just spend time at the Lake. Doug could fix anything and he loved his cats. He was a member of Grapevine Ambucs. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. Survivors: Wife, Gretchen Carman; children, Amy Cox and husband Michael Wayman, Katrina Cox, and Brent Lowe and wife Jennifer; sister, Dr. Carolyn Carman; brother, Ray Carman and wife Lori; grandchildren, Konner Lowe, Riley and Bella O'Bannon, Triston Cox, and Dustin Wayman; nieces and nephews, Micayla Merrifeild, Andre Merrifield, Brenna Merrifield, Jason Carman and wife Chelsea, Amanda Davis and husband Dusty, Tarah Meyers and husband Kurtis, Keith Hart, and Zachary Hart; mother-in-law, Marie Terry.
