Janey Twila Culpepper-Jordan, 69, of Guthrie, TX, passed away on December 27, 2020 in Burleson, TX.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date to be held in the Spring when the flowers are blooming which was her favorite time of the year.
Janey was born in Abilene, Texas to Kenneth Ross Culpepper and Twila Gay Green Culpepper on July 22, 1951, the youngest of 6 children raised in Guthrie, TX. Janey was a free-spirt that was always so full of life, laughter, and humor and always help anyone in need. She would spend many days hunting with her husband, her love for the outdoors was more than just a hobby it was her passion. Although Janey lived most of her adult life in the city, she was truly a country girl at heart. Janey has lived in many places and many states, but she always found her way back home to Texas.
Janey Twila Jordan is survived by her husband William Robert Jordan of Burleson, TX, her three sons David Moore of Virginia Beach, VA, Matt Stone and wife Kimberly of Burleson, TX and Jack Paul Moore and wife Tiffany of Sterling, VA; 5 grandchildren Ashley Moore, David Moore, Jessika Proctor, Sierra Moore, Katie Moore, and 2 great-grandchildren Camden Burke and Jedidiah Moore. She is also survived by her three sisters Pat Roberts, Betty Baxter, and Peggy Kimbrell. She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth/Twila Gay Culpepper and siblings Jackie Culpepper and Judy Cowen.
In lieu of flowers or donations to honor Janey’s giving heart, go do something nice for a stranger. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of Janey’s countless family members and friends that became family near and far.
