Although we didn't know Janey well, meeting her in our travels to Burleson and staying for a brief few years, we were always happy to see her. Listening to her stories and jokes and choice of words that would make a sailor proud. She made us laugh which is always the best medicine in life. Rest well, my friend.

My compassionate friend. I'll always hold dear the times we'd change all the lyrics to every song we howled out all night. The jokes you told. Thank you for loving and caring for me thru my tuff times. Let me know when you're around. I love you. Keep the beers cold and the music current, we have more lyric butchery to do.

My Zaney, I’m going to miss you so much! Thank you for teaching me how to laugh at adversity. How to Love the lost, and make something beautiful out of nothing.
My favorite memory was when I was 13 and you came and lived with us, and stayed in my room with me ! You were like having a sister, I was so excited and I loved every minute of it. You taught me more about boys than mom could have ever imagined
The best memory was when you would give me a ride to school there was this boy I knew and you asked if I wanted to stop and give him a ride ! He fell for it and climbed in the car thinking wow two hot chicks giving me a ride, as we are leaving the Pizza Hut parking lot where we picked him up at, you asked if we wanted to go riding around before school ! And of course he says yea ( with enthusiasm) so you proceed to drive in circles in the parking lot !!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more scared look in a boys face ever, I think he thought he just got kidnapped. And then you stopped and said now y’all ready to go to school . Just so you know I pulled that trick on several of Mandis friends and still do if I’m ever given the chance. Thank you for being you and teaching me your crazy. It’s going to be hard to go to the Putter and not see you behind the bar. I love you and hug grandmas neck for me and tell Steph how much we miss her but we are glad you’re there with her and make sure you give her a ride around !

Janey and I go back to late 60's when we met in Aspermont, TX. We became very close friends. Matter of fact she was the sister I never had. She and I lost touch for a while but found each other again when my daughter was born and once again lost touch again but found each other here on FB and was making plans to get together after the Holiday's. Janey was an angel here on earth and God needed an angel fill a certain position and knew who would be the perfect person for it. She now has her wings and halo. You will be missed dear friend until we meet again. RIP Precious Friend.

Where do I even begin. There are so many memories from the time I first walked into the Putter you holler there just walked in my new best friend. You made everyone feel welcomed and special. We always loved celebrating your birthday to playing darts Captain Janey. My absolute favorite is our daily phone conversations rather it be to chit chat or give me all your advise and wisdom and most important your Prayers and Bible quotes. I’m going to miss you sweet friend I can hear you lecture me now what am I going to do? Deb your going to read that white family Bible I gave you because we have talked many times about the Bible and prayed many times you have the tools to manage without me. I love you Janey and Thank you for everything until I see you again fly high with the angels. Every time my cannas and other flowers in my yard bloom every spring that you lovingly gave me from your own yard I will know it’s you visiting and smiling like the rays of sunshine you not only brought to me but everyone else.
