Everett William Waudby, 66, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 Visitation: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114. Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Everett William Waudby was born on February 12, 1954 in Lawrence, Kansas.His nickname was “Honest Abe” as he was born on Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Everett was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Everett was a beacon of light in the world with his kindness, unconditional loving nature, and sense of humor. He was a raving fan of Elvis Presley and every time he heard an Elvis song playing, he would get up and dance. Everett entertained 1000’s of people with his Elvis’ dance moves. He was truly a gift from God and all were honored by his presence. He will be missed as he was one of kind. The nurse that cared for him as he passed said that he departed with a smile on his face. The King will live on! Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Everett J and Betty Pearson Waudby. Everett is survived by his 2 brothers, Donald Waudby and Curtis Waudby. Also, a special family that cared for Everett during the past 10 years include; Charles and Dorothy Alatorre, and their sons, Taylor, Jared, and Damien.
