Nell,
We met 20 years ago. I was able to give you your first grandchild, and named her after you Maya Shanel. Eleven months later, we were blessed with your second grandchild, Asha. You LOVED them so. Thank you so much for showing them that love and always welcoming them, and me, with open arms. Even recently, when our place wasn't ready to move in, you welcomed us and treated me just like family. You fed us and were genuinely concerned about our needs.
I know that the girls will miss their summers with Grandma Nell. Those summers, that your great-granddaughter, Kaetince, will never get to enjoy. We will make sure she knows all about them.
It was truly my pleasure to be included as a part of the family for the last 20 years. Now, your journey here on Earth is complete. "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord."
