This is my fun memory of my brother.
Ricky taught me how to play games. More importantly, he taught me the unbreakable rules to checkers, chess, backgammon, dominoes, etc but he never taught me well enough to beat him. It was only after the fact, when the game had ended, and he won, where he would show me where I went wrong. I remember one day at Grannie and Grandad's breakfast table, it was Grandad in his chair, Ricky at the other end and I was sitting under the window. We were playing regular dominoes. I played my last domino and went out with ten! As a novice domino player, that was a big thing, to actually go out with points. I was so excited! Then, Ricky showed me that if I had turned the domino around and place it on another domino, I would have gone out with 25!
Oh, the memories! Good old Ricky left this earth hearing, "good bye, son," and entered heaven hearing, "hello, ol' man."
