Truett Boaldin Britt, 59, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 27 at Marty Leonard Chapel, 3131 Sanguenet St., Ft. Worth.
Visitation: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Sunday, March 26 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth.
Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale.
Truett was born on February 28, 1958 in Fort Worth to Travis and Arline Britt. He was a 1977 graduate of Kennedale High School. He worked with his dad at Britt Building Materials in Kennedale for many years. In 1993, Truett went into business for himself and opened Truett Britt Building Materials. Years later, he became a salesman and sold heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. Truett loved to fish, camp, cook, barbecue and do yardwork. He loved spending time with his loving wife and their dog Minnie Pearl. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed wood working and remodeling. Truett will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Truett was preceded in death by his mother, Arline Britt.
Survivors: Wife of 25 years, Debbie Britt; son, Thomas Britt and wife Konomi; grandchildren, Takumi Britt and Mia Britt; father, Travis Britt and his wife Jimmie LaVern; sisters, Patricia Hale, Karen Grazier, Sheri Milliman and her husband Rit, and Rana Sherrick and her husband Michael; brother, Joseph Skipworth and his wife Diana; and extended family.
