Obituary of Robert "Steven" Howard

Robert “Steven” Howard, 48, passed unexpectedly February 27, 2017 at his home in Ft. Worth, suffering a fatal fall in his home after battling viral pneumonia and severe coughing spells for over two months. A private graveside service was held March 3, 2017 in Dawson TX. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 2 p.m. at McKinney Church Chapel, 4805 Arborlawn Dr, Fort Worth. Born on June 14, 1968 at Fort Wolters Military Hospital in Mineral Wells, TX and later raised in Houston, Steven graduated from Stratford High in 1986. He received his BBA from TCU in 1990; member of Kappa Sig Fraternity. Previously as VP Hillwood Land for 10 years, Steven was VP Land Development for the last 6 years with Pillar Income Assets Management in Dallas. He was a loving, caring and dedicated father, regularly attending TCU athletic events and ranch activities with his children Sarah and Marshall. Steven is survived by parents Randy and Jo Howard of Houston; children, Sarah Anne Howard and Marshall Lee Howard; brother Ron Howard and his wife Melissa, nephew Nathan Randall Howard, niece Allison Faith Howard of Houston; uncle Alan Howard of Baton Rouge. Steven was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Quillin and Doris Hutton of Austin; paternal grandparents Marshall and Madge Howard of Dawson.
