Dear family of Betty, My heart is broken that my dear friend Betty has passed. I loved her as a sister and have missed her since she moved from her home on Sycamore School here in Ft. Worth. I was able to visit her once after she moved to her new home, but kept in contact by phone. I was her visiting teacher ever since she moved to her apartment in Ft. Worth. So it's been many many years and I got very close to her. The last time I spoke with her she was I think in the hospital. She had to do something and said she would call me back. But she never did. I called her phone and kept getting her voice mail so I knew something was wrong. I've been so worried about her that I called her Relief Society President on Friday and that's when I got the news. I wish I had known, I would have been to her memorial. I'm sorry I wasn't able to. You all had a wonderful mother and grandmother. She talked about you all the time and she loved you all dearly. Please accept my sincere condolences and love to you all.
