David Brooks, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Requiem Mass: 10 am Monday, St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 4201 Mitchell Blvd., Ft. Worth, Bishop Keith L. Ackerman, Celebrant. David was born on June 10, 1949 in Ft. Worth to Henry and Rosemary Brooks. He was an active member of St. Timothy's Church, where he served as a greeter, usher and altar server through various years. David was the Co-Founder of the Ft Worth Cats Youth Baseball for gifted young baseball players, and also served on the Board of Director for the Hallmark Youth Association. He also enjoyed building models and writing family memoirs. Survivors: Wife, Cindy Brooks; sons, Brian Brooks and wife Tammi, and Tim Brooks and wife Leslie; grandsons, Tanner Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Cade Brooks, and Hunter Brooks; sister, Linda Hoover and husband John; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
