Obituary of Juan Martin Olvera

Juan Martin Olvera, 49, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2013. Service: Graveside, 1:15 pm Monday, Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 2 pm - 6 pm Sunday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Granbury Rd, Ft. Worth. Juan was born on June 24, 1964 in Amarillo, TX to Damacio and Francisca Olvera. He enjoyed fishing, baking, and cooking especially cookouts. Juan loved to build things and crafts. He loved music and dancing and called himself Emilio Navaira. Juan was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother Damacio Olvera. Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mayra Olvera; his sons, Juan Martin Olvera, Jr., Ja'n Olvera and Fernando Olvera; his daughter, Cristal Olvera; his father, Damacio Olvera; his brothers, Santos Olvera, Juan Olvera, Robert Olvera and Augustine Olvera; and his sisters, Rosa Franco and Guadalupe Escamila.
