Obituary of Dan Allen Bassham

BURLESON -- Dan Allen Bassham, of Burleson, passed away January 17, 2014 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 1 pm Wednesday, Calvary Church, 700 McPherson Rd, Ft. Worth. He was born Oct 26, 1955 to the late Allen and Darlin Bassham and was a lifelong Fort Worth area resident. Dan worked his entire life in the trucking industry, most recently as a dispatcher with SAR Transportation. His greatest joy was his family, and time spent with his wife, sons and grandchildren. Dan never met a stranger, and once you knew him, you were a friend for life. His wit and humor will be missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, and son, Chad. Survived by: wife; Rhonda, sons: Chase Bassham and wife Karyn, Bobby Jones III and wife April, daughter: Sarah Coe and husband Kaleb, brothers: Cary Bassham and wife Kim, Kelly Ford and wife Ruby and Ronnie Barnes, sisters: Janet Edwards and husband Jeff and Robin Evans, grandchildren: Blake, Grayson, Harlee and Addison, Mother & Father-in-Law, William & Katherine Edwards: along with friends too numerous to mention.
