Obituary of Gordy Mathew Bynum

Gordy Mathew Bynum, Azle, Texas passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 52 after a short battle with a rare type of cancer. Mathew was born October 3, 1972.

Mathew loved fishing, riding his Harley and racing! One of his favorites of all times was being surrounded by family and frying fish with his Uncle Wayne and Great Uncle Roy Gill.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Gordy and Geneva Gill and Aunt Joyce Lamance.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Browning, his sister Lola Pena and husband Eddy and brother Bart Tackett and wife Brenda, all of Mineral Wells. Mathew is also survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Sayles and family of Azle, Texas. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

A celebration of life will be held January 4, 2025 at Love Street Park Pavilion, 309 Love Street, Weatherford Texas. Come and go from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
