Obituary of Verna Lea Patton

Verna celebrated Christmas in Heaven this year with her Savior and loved ones. She passed to her heavenly home on December 24, 2024.

Verna was born to Lankford and Zelma Warren in Durant Oklahoma March 23, 1952, welcomed at home by older brother Lynn. The family moved to Hereford where she attended school and graduated  in Hereford High School in 1970.

Verna married Kevin Patton October 9, 1987, and together they owned and operated Friona Heating and Air from 1995 until 2020. Verna loved being around family and friends and playing music. She lived life to the absolute fullest.

Verna and Kevin raised their children and enjoyed their grandchildren.

In 2022, after the passing of Kevin, Verna moved to Weatherford Texas.

Verna is preceded in death by her parents Lankford and Zelma Warren, and brother Lynn Warren. Leaving to mourn is daughter Jessica Kapka and husband James of Weatherford TX, Aaron Sorensen of Kansas City Kansas, Hayden Patton and wife Kayla of Lubbock and 6 grandchildren.
