Obituary of Juan Marines
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Marines on November 11, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on March 27, 1956, in Allende, Coahuila, Juan was a beacon of light, known for his humor, loyalty, and compassion. His warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to call him a friend, colleague, or family.
In 1976, Juan married Sofia Marines, the love of his life, and together they built a strong and loving family. Throughout his life, Juan exemplified a relentless work ethic and dedication. He spent over 20 years at Mesco Metal Buildings and another 10 years at Trinity Industries, where his commitment and skill earned him the respect of all who worked with him.
After retiring, Juan continued to embrace life with enthusiasm, channeling the same energy and determination he had throughout his career into his passions. He found joy in spending time with his family, fishing, visiting the casino, and caring for his beloved chickens—activities that brought him great happiness in his later years.
Juan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Juan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sofia; son, Juan Marines; daughter, Sofia Munoz and Julian; sisters, Martha and Nena; brothers, Raul, Rogelio and Ricardo; grandchildren, Juan Jr, Larissa, Christopher, Josiah and Abby; great- grandchildren, Luis, Ellie, Abel, Evalina; as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Marines; sister, Dora Maldonado; in-laws, Sr. and Sra. Concepcion Maldonado; and brother in laws, Juan Marquez and Chuy Maldonado; sister in law Juanita Maldonado; nephew Juan Luis Marquez
Visitation: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Crowley Cemetery, 300 N. Hampton Road, Crowley, Texas.
