Mark J. Schwartzhoff, 70, Southlake, Texas resident and former Northbrook & Evanston, IL resident, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024.

Mark is survived by his wife, Maribeth, and their children, Amanda (Alex) Crisman and Ally (Adam) Hansen. Treasured and loving “G” to Austin, Carson and Stetson. Devoted son to Mark J. Schwartzhoff, Sr. and Joan Schwartzhoff Miller. Wonderful brother to Cindy (Bruce) Miller, Rick (Linda) Schwartzhoff, Mary Jo (John) Jurney, the late Chuck Peterson, Mike (Cathy) Peterson, and Jan (Jim) O’Brien. Devoted uncle to Shauna (Jesse) Reitz, Kailey Schwartzhoff, John Jurney, Jr., Alex (Adriana) Jurney, Davis (Kailey) Peterson, Callie Peterson, Max Peterson, Mauri Peterson, Madi O’Brien, Peyton O’Brien, and Kendall O’Brien. Great uncle to Taylor and Hudson. 

Mark was very loved and will be missed by everyone including his many cousins, friends, and co-workers. Work was an important part of who he was and he enjoyed a long and dedicated career in finance within the banking industry. His love for his kids and spending time with them and his grandchildren were his main priority and nothing gave him more joy. He held his family and friends close to his heart. 

Private family service November 29, 2024.

Celebration of Life Reception November 30, 2024  3:00-5:00 pm for Family and Friends at Mickey Finns, Libertyville, Illinois.
