Obituary of Evelyn Joyce Beatty

Please share a memory of Evelyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Evelyn Joyce Beatty of Benbrook, Texas, passed away on August 25, 2024.

Evelyn was born in Jordan, Montana on May 25, 1939, to William Eugene Rowland and Caroline L. Anderson. A figure larger than life and nearly impossible to encapsulate in so few words, Evelyn was a seeker of truth with an insatiable curiosity and passion for learning. She was an avid reader—traveling the world both on and off the pages—and an entrepreneur.

Evelyn carried purpose with her and gifted meaning to anyone who had lost sight of it in their lives. She was a beacon of warmth for those who knew her and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Evelyn was quite the social butterfly with an uncanny talent in making those around her feel seen and valued. Her parties were legendary and even hosted some of the world’s most beloved authors, including Don Miguel Ruiz and Kryon/Dr. Lee Carroll.

Evelyn is survived by her sister Rexine Leming; her three daughters: Audra Madison, Laura Smith, and Jessica Beatty; three grandchildren: Tasha McGhie, Quillan Yeager, and October Yeager; and a great grandchild, Eleora Goodman.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Richard Beatty, her beloved brother Kenneth Roland, her sister Ginger Neibaur, and her mother Kelly Connors.

Evelyn was brimming with light and life. She possessed a deep wisdom and offered steadfast guidance to us all. She will be greatly missed and ardently celebrated.
