Big smile…. That’s the memory that attaches to all the times I had with Cody. Growing up as kids, if it was fireworks time or backyard baseball… we were at Barry & Terrys. Although Cody was younger than us he sure did his part to keep up, have fun, smile big, and play hard. He used to make me laugh so much. What a joyful soul. We went our seperate ways when life of marriage and family happened but still had occasional contact. July 4th 2021, was the last time I saw Cody and it never fails, his huge smile carried on with lots of conversation about life, lots of laughing and him enjoying his family. God gave Cody a joy that nobody could take away. He always seemed to have a care and respect for those around him. Cody I expect to see that smile again when the Lord takes me too! I love you brother.

Cody loved watching the Christmas cartoons we had video taped for all of the grandkids and for the kids who I babysat and they would watch and watch and sit and sit and watch them over and over. That's one thing I'll never for forget. I love you Cody and will truly miss you.

Cody was my best friend when we were young. I will always cherish our memories that we shared together. He only lived 2 houses down from us. I still remember him coming over to play all the time. Rest in peace my sweet friend. - With love from your "Stasty"

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Cody?
A: Cody would listen, I remember he would listen to all my nonsense and he never would discard my feelings. Cody was a good person, he was fun to be around and when you were around him he was always joking around. He made me laugh and he was a kind hearted person. Cody will truly be missed and he is loved.

This sweet boy came into our lives when he was about 4 years old… he was one of the youngest kids at out daycare Kids Country in Joshua…. He stole my heart with that blond hair and big smile and a sense of humor that a 4 year old shouldn’t be allowed to have.. One my favorite memories of him was one day he was sitting on the steps that went to Terrys bedroom at her house. He gives me that sweet smile and with his elbows on his knees and his hands out he says “ Wont sum?” I looked at Terry and said you both are in for some fun with this one…Our hearts and prayers go out to the Stephens family ..Terry Barry Chris Lynn and Brandon and all the family. We love you Barry and Sharon
