Major Charles “Chuck” Edward Siefert (Ret.) was cleared for take off to his final destination on 4/27/2024. While a resident of Ft. Worth, TX for over 50 years, his U.S. Air Force career took him on many tours of duty domestic and abroad, including wartime duty in Thailand. He was born in Shelbyville, IN on 6/30/1931 to Louis H. and Maverne G. (Brown) Siefert where he attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1949. After attending classes at Purdue University, he joined the USAF in 1952 and served as a navigator on countless missions. Following his military career, he worked 12 years with General Dynamics and traveled internationally. Chuck was an Eagle Scout and volunteered many years to support his son and grandsons in the BSA.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years Joanne Martin Siefert, daughter Linda Siefert Presley, son Stephen Louis Siefert (with husband Mark A. Hoyle), and grandsons Jonathan R. Presley, Patrick S. Presley, Edwin L. Siefert, and Damien D. Siefert. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Maverne Siefert, sisters Mary Katherine Siefert and Betty Lou (Siefert) Marsh, and daughter Susan Gail Siefert.
