Dorothy Anne Wefald Elrod, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Marty Leonard Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet Street, Fort Worth.
Dorothy was born on August 7, 1931 in Bismark, ND to Harold and Grace Baarstad Wefald. She grew up in Fargo, ND and joined the United States Army after her freshman year in College to help take care of her brother and the young men going to war. Dorothy was active in politics serving as a Election Judge and Precinct Chairman. She enjoyed decorating and had a great eye for color and design. Many family and friends came to her for decorating ideas. Dorothy was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors: Husband, Watt Elrod; and children, Lilianna Elrod and Jon C Elrod.
