Obituary of Dorothea Adrian Hampton

Dorothea A. Hampton, 75, Graduated, with honors, from life here on earth Sunday, July 27th following a brief illness. Memorial: A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 14, at 3 p.m. in the Marty Leonard Chapel on the Hill, 3131 Sanquinet Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107. In lieu of flowers, she requested a donation be made to an organization of your choosing. Dorothea "Dottie" was born in Bowie, Texas on August 5, 1938. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School, Fort Worth in 1956. She attended TCU briefly before enrolling at the University of Colorado where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in philosophy. She did post graduate work in Art at the University of North Texas, in Denton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Margaret Jones. Survivors: Brother, Robert Jones and wife Linda; nephews, Robert Whitley and wife Deborah, Robert Jones, Jr and wife Sharry, and their son Brandon, James Whitley and wife Laura, David Jones and wife Jo Ann, and cousins, Maurice Jones and wife Kay, Sherryn Smith and husband Gordon, Don Jones and Helen Davis. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and lifelong friends and acquaintances. The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Mathew Stine and staff of Aledo, Holland Lake Nursing Center and staff of Weatherford, and the staff of Envoy Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
