Ronald Evans, 67, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Marty Leonard Chapel, 3131 Sanquinet St, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, where a Rosary will be said at 7 p.m., Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth. The family will receive friends at a reception at Corporate Employees Recreation Association (formerly LMRA) from 1 to 3 p.m. following the service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Ronald was born on September 19, 1946 in Providence, RI to Fred and Betty Evans. He worked for General Dynamics and Lockhead for 39 years, where he retired in April 2014. Ronald enjoyed gambling, the stock market and working puzzles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors: Wife, Elaine Evans; sons, Gary Evans, Scott Evans and Eric Evans; brothers, Fred Evans and special friend Chrys Turner, and Steve Evans and wife Jackie; sister, Debbie Hillin and husband Earl; and numerous grandchildren and extended family and friends.
