Green Carroll, Jr. Was born in Post Oak, Texas on December 10, 1933, to Green "Munsey" Carroll, Sr. and Callie Carroll. He attended Avant School in Dew, Texas, Followed by Booker T. Washington in Teague, Texas. Green Married his classmate, Emma Marie Moore, and together they had two children, Green Carroll III and Felicia Carroll-Carter. Later, he married Loretta, gaining two stepchildren, Charlotte Johnson and Bruce Johnson. His final marriage was to Linda.

Green dedicated much of his life to the construction business, working as a foreman for companies such as Brown & Root and Shamrock until his retirement. Outside of work, he found joy in playing dominoes and indulged his passion for fast cars and racing. He cherished time spend with his siblings, sharing stories and memories.

He was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Longview, Texas, under the leadership of Reverend Kevin Anthony, until declining heatlh prompted his move to Fort Worth, Texas, to be with his family.

Green was preceded in death by his parents, Green "Munsey" Carroll, Sr. and Callie Carroll, as well as his siblings Hillmon Renfro, Lurline Sweeney, Hoover Carroll, Billie Joe Carroll, Irene Slaughter, and William W.C. Carroll; Green was also preceded in death by his beloved wives, Loretta and Linda; and his granddaughter, Felicia Marie Carroll.

He is survived by his sisters, Emma Lee Finnen, Betty Brown (Sullivan); children, Green Carroll, III (Tonja), Felicia Carroll-Carter, Linda and Bruce; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
