Obituary of Kenneth Warren Monroe

Kenneth Warren Monroe Born August 6, 1931, Ken passed peacefully on January 1, 2024. Graduating from Texas A&M in 1953, he was a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Band. After two years in the Air Force, he worked 46+ years at Lockheed Martin as an engineer in the test lab.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Ann, and children, Steve Monroe (Melana), Susan Morris (Daniel Stengle), Beth Gibson (Pat), Mark Monroe, 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren.

Ken loved his family, his church, the family lake house at Possum Kingdom Lake, and his garden. Anyone who knew him probably received okra, green beans or swiss chard on their doorstep.

Services with reception to follow, will be Saturday, January 13th, at 1:30 PM at St. Christophers Episcopal Church, now meeting at St. Mathews Lutheran church, 5709 Wedgwood Dr. 76133.
