Obituary of J.T. Campbell

J.T. Campbell, Jr., passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014, surrounded by family. J.T. was born on September 11, 1932 in Henrietta, Texas, to J. T. and Willie Campbell. He graduated with an accounting degree from Hardin-Simmons University. J. T. served his country as a Private First Class in the U. S. Army for two years in Mineral Wells. He was the owner and president of The Market based in Dallas, later expanding locations to Plano, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Southlake. J.T. was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dalton Ray Campbell. He is survived by his spouse, Tom Duke; his son, Jeff Campbell, and Jeff's wife Cassandra, of Kyle, TX; his grandchildren, Astrid and Jolie Campbell; Jeff's mother, Elizabeth Evans; and sisters Glenda Fern Campbell Henderson, and Patricia Gail Stanton. Interment will occur at 10 am Monday, November 10, at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery.
