I met Jeffery through his daughter Jennifer. My first impression of Jeff was his genuine and sincere thoughtfulness for his family. If you were blessed to be let into his circle of friends you were also family and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for you. I loved his love for his family and his laughter. He was funny and he was also tough when he had to be. He will be missed by all who knew him but specially by his beautiful family who really depended on him to be the steadfast presence in their lives. He told me he would make his famous biscuit and bacon gravy for me one day soon but now it will have to be when we get to heaven. I’m going to hold him to his promise but I don’t think we’ll be allowed to have bacon there, lol. I never told him how much he meant to me but I want his family to know I loved him as a dear friend and look forward to being reunited with my friend Jeffery at the trumpet sound one day soon.
