Obituary of Nelda King
Nelda King, 66, of Grapevine, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, Nelda and Joe would very much appreciate a contribution to one (or more) of the three following charities that she really enjoyed, The Luk3 Foundation (assisting families and juvenile patients with brain injury) Lubbock, Texas; The TeamConnor Foundation (for juvenile cancer research) Frisco, Texas, or The Miracle League of Southlake (providing sports opportunities to developmentally & physically, disabled children) Southlake, Texas.
Nelda was born on Monday, January 28, 1957, in Fort Benning, Georgia. She proudly graduated from Texas State University and became a devoted 35-year resident of Grapevine, Texas. Over the years, Nelda dedicated her time and energy to various roles, including working for the city of Southlake, Grapevine Sun, and the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Her passion for cooking and baking was well-known among her loved ones, and she was a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, displaying her unwavering support season after season.
Nelda was preceded in death by her mother, Ophelia Arnold and husband Mark; and step-son, Steven Daniel King.
Survivors: Husband, Joe King; father, Willie Arnold; and sister, Debbie Arnold; stepchildren, Molly King White, Christopher, Joseph King, daughter-in-law, Kathryn King; step-grandchildren, MaNaren “Mac” White, Lilly King, and Finley King; and former sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Mike Collins.
