You will be missed, Mommy Susan Bagang! As a young teacher, I maintained a distance from the parents of my students bec I didn't want to be perceived as playing favorites. But she’s one of three (ala sanang magtampu ne- I wont mention the other 2) I couldnt resist being close to. She was genuinely loving and super (persistently) thoughtful. Back then until the last time I was in the U.S., she’s made sure to reach out and chat with me. She would send gifts and say “kaluguran daka.”I’ve prayed for her to recover but I knew God had better plans. I honor you, Mommy Sue! Til we meet again!
