Obituary of Bobby Gene Murray, Jr
Bobby Gene Murray, Jr. passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 63 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 22, 1959, to Bobby Gene Murray, Sr., and Ann Murray.
He served in the U.S. Army as a tank driver in Patton’s division in Germany. He later became an accomplished salesman, earning Realtor of the Year before he began working alongside his father at their family homebuilding business, Bobby Murray Homes.
Bobby was an avid poker player for much of his life and enjoyed betting on the ponies. He was a devout believer and hosted weekly bible studies for his family. He loved Christmas lights, was an accomplished home cook and Grill Meister, and made the best ice cream in the world. He loved life and had a beautiful life because he knew how to live it to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife Lilia Alcala, mother Ann Murray, sister Sheila Murray, brother Charles Murray, nephew Shane Rankin, great niece Jessica Rankin and great great nephews Jayden and Jordan Kantner, and his beloved dog Molly.
The funeral will be a private memorial with only close family members present.
