Q: What will you never forget about Danny? A: Danny was the first person to ever genuinely make me believe that there are good people that really care and want to help and see someone do better. I've never met anyone so kind, caring, with the hugest heart. I miss him and wish I had more time to be able to thank him for everything. I appreciate both he and Pam. I love y'all!

Danny, Thank you for always being on the other end of a phone for so many years. I guess you have a new number now, we just won't need the phones. I feel blessed to have been your friend for so many years. I'll never forget all of our brainstorming sessions on the banks of Lake Poole. I hope to see you again someday. I struggle with making sense of the loss of a friend, a mentor, and someone who I aspired to be like in work and life. As everyone who had the privilege to meet Danny, we all became awestruck with admiration for Danny’s ability to make people feel welcome and at ease. I met Dan early in my career and he set the bar high for me and pushed me to strive for excellence while staying humble. The time spent after work was just as valuable, Danny and Pam opened their home hearts to make everyone feel apart of their family. A friend taken from life too soon is nothing but tragedy. His death affects everyone who knew and loved him. We will honor his legacy and remember him always. Thank you Danny for always being there for me In every possible way.

Danny was a thoughtful, honest, hardworking man. He made a special trip to Hillsboro to repair bathroom lights during a difficult time in my life. I will always remember his kindness.

I am truly saddened by the loss of Danny and my prayers and condolences are offered to Pam and Kerry, and others in Danny's family. I was fortunate to have known and been friends with Danny for many years. He, Pam, and Kerry were among some of the first neighbors Linda and I and our kids met after moving to Forney. Somewhere in heaven there is a backyard volleyball game being talked about. Danny's generosity and willingness to help you with his hands or his laugh were unmatched by most. We will miss him.

Danny was truly the most generous and humble man that was a great friend to anyone that knew him. He meant a great deal to Julie and me as well as many of our extended family members.
