Obituary of Carolyn Ann Terry

Carolyn Ann Terry, passed away at age 85, Sunday, March 5, 2023 from Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma- leukemia, chronic COPD, at home in Crowley Texas.
Carolyn was born in Fort Worth to Edwin (Eddy) Ruffner Terry and Wilburnette Jewel Young on September 26, 1937.
She left R.L. Pascal school now a Fort Worth High School in 1952.
She met Don Brammer, a pro motorcycle racer, and they were married on August 1, 1953 in Ardmore, Ok.  They raised four daughters.
Before meeting Don, Carolyn enjoyed riding horses with cousins, enjoyed ice-skating, playing music, taught by her grandmother, Jewel Young, and her aunt Maywood Pope. Being a talented musician, she played triple duets on piano, also enjoyed her violin in school years.
Carolyn won several awards with her ballroom dancing.
She loved fishing with her daughters and family, and visiting casinos.
Carolyn will be remembered by family and friends for her generosity of giving, helping family and veterans and the needy, for her sense of kindness, and her faith in God.
She was baptized at the Fort Worth Pentecostal church.
She worked in the family vending business, Texas Music Co. for many years.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Eddy Terry and mother, Wilburnette Young, her brother Maurice Terry, and her aunts and uncles. Carolyn is survived by daughters, Terry Gutierrez, Donna Reed, Sherrie Capps and Lisa Mejia and Grandchildren,  Holli Clardy, Dameon Hudson,  Michael Froschauer and Chris Johnson. She has 8 Great Grandchildren.  She will be missed.
