Obituary of Cheryl Jane Moore
Cheryl Jane Moore (Hall) passed away peacefully surrounded by many loving family members on 6 January 2023.
A life lived exhibiting absolute and unconditional love for everyone. She was a harbor from the storm, a cheerleader for all lacking support, a safe space for people to be their true and authentic selves.
To try and put into words, her humanity leaves one feeling the english language primitive. The words haven't manifested.
She was so much more, her family continues to hear how she saved lives simply with her unconditional love.
Its inconceivable that with so much hate in the world today, that a healer would be the one taken from us.
That's life though, isn't it?
We must all remember what Cheryl Jane would do. She would keep going, put on her face every morning and smile.
We will continue her legacy of advocating for humanity with unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by parents, Gloria and Waymond; husbands, Johnny Hall and H.T. Moore; and nephews, Seth, Craig, and Nathan.
She was survived by daughters, Katherine Ford of Weatherford, Stephanie Jane Acord (Joseph) of Oklahoma City, Margret Mercer of Austin, TX, and Alice Kirby (David) of Round Rock, TX; son, Bill Moore (Lisa) of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Kirsten Chaplain (Will) of Boston, MA, Billy and Erin Ledbetter of Austin, TX, Courtney Jane Acord of Oklahoma City, Nate and Page Moore of Austin, TX, Cal and Clara Kirby of Round Rock, TX; sisters, Katie Dozier (Dirk) of Austin, TX, Susan Merryman of Weatherford, TX; brother, Thomas Davis (Rachal) of Weatherford, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and many friends that all have played a small part in Cheryl's life to make the world a better place.
