Amalia Santiago, 73, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2022.

Visitation: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76133.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at St. Ann Catholic Church in 100 SW Alsbury Blvd., Burleson, TX 76028. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111. 

Amalia was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Juan and Felicitas Santiago on October 10, 1949. She went to Trimble Tech High School and graduated in 1969. Amalia worked at General Dynamics for 18 years and later transferred to EFW, where she worked for 15 years. She loved cooking for her family and friends, watching Spanish Novelas, and listening to Tejano and oldies' music.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Felicitas Muro Santiago; father, Juan Santiago; and sisters, Mary Ellen Vasquez and Guadalupe Resendez.

Survivors: Daughter, Catherine Serrano, and husband Michael; son, William E. Ronquillo, Jr.; grandchildren, Christine M. Serrano, Mauro X. Serrano, LeAhna Kira L. Ford-Ronquillo, and Juan F. Ronquillo, all of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Virginia Gonzalez, Susana DeLeon, Gloria Torres, Julia Lopez, Juanita Santiago; and numerous nieces and nephews.
