Emily was born in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1969. She graduated from Clearfield High School in Clearfield, Utah 1988, while at the same time earning her degree from Fran Brown’s College of Beauty. She has spent the past 35 years as a stylist doing what she loved, which was making people beautiful and happy.
Emily enjoyed all types of arts and crafts, and could take a simple piece of driftwood and a few stones and turn them into an amazing work of art. She enjoyed the outdoors and found immense joy in just walking through the woods and watching the animals and birds. One of Emily’s greatest loves, was spending time with and spoiling her two rescued doggies, Shelby and Macey. She would have loved nothing better than to see shelters better supported and more animals being rescued and adopted out to loving homes.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Daigle, of 5 years. They were married in Montecito, California on November 10, 2016.
Emily is lovingly remembered by her mother, Brenda Gibson of Hurst, Texas; her father and bonus mother, Billy and Carolyn McNatt of Mansfield, Texas; her two beautiful daughters, Kallie Murray and Savannah Murray of Dallas, Texas; her precious grandson, Jett Jennings of Dallas, Texas; her sister, Crystal Butterfield of Valley Ranch, Texas and two nephews, Wyatt and Marshall Butterfield; and her sister, Tiffany Guy of Utah.
