Obituary of Billy and Angelyn Chaney

Please share a memory of Billy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Billy Don Chaney was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Good Friday April 3, 2015. He was reunited after 4 short months apart with his one true love of 55 years Angelyn Richards Chaney, who preceded him in death December 5th, 2014. Billy (Bill) Chaney was born on December 9th, 1935 to the late Fred and Nelle Chaney. Bill served in the Army National Guard and was a wonderful artist. He loved golf, baseball, and cheering on his favorite college team TCU! One of his greatest joys was being "Mr. Bill" at Nettie Baccus Elementary for many years. Angelyn (Angie) Richards was born on February 2nd, 1939 to the late Ben Richards and Marie Welch. Angie was an avid horse and dog lover and loved attending dog shows and rodeos. Bill and Angie were married in 1959 and had three beautiful daughters. They were also lifetime members of the Methodist Church Community. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry Chaney. Angie was preceded in death by her parents. They were survived by daughters Kimberley Tye, husband Billy, Courtney Cantrell, husband Sam, Shelley Taylor, husband David. Grandchildren Misty Tye Beasley, husband Jimmy, Charlsey Tye, Kelsey Tye, Diana Thomason, husband Brad, and Taylor Trammell. Great grandchildren Reese and Bryn Beasley and Carmen and Jake Thomason. The family is clinging to the verse, John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." Per their wishes a private memorial will be held for the immediate family at DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, our family would love for you to give a donation to your favorite charity in our parent's name.
