Crystal Mae Steele passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at her home surrounded by family. Service: 1 p.m. Monday, White's Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 S. White Chapel Rd., Southlake. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Founders Chapel, White's Chapel United Methodist Church. Crystal was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Wilson, Okla., to Lowell and Vella Casey. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Crystal bled Carroll Green and supported and loved her Carroll Dragons. Every time Carrol scored she kissed her husband. She loved company and taking family out to eat. Crystal had a amazing memory and was her family's matriarch and book of knowledge. Crystal was generous, forgiving and never had an enemy. Crystal was preceded in death by her son, Don Steel; grandson, Robert Steele; and her sister, Elizabeth Burris. Survivors: Husband of 69 years, Bob Steele; sons, Dan Steele and wife, Melinda, and Randy Steele and wife, Paige; grandchildren, Tracy, Tara, Crystal, Shawn, Amber and Jennifer; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
