Obituary of Edna Ruth Myers

Edna Ruth Myers, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in Greenleaf Cemetery, 2615 US-377 Brownwood, TX. Edna was born on December 17, 1945 in San Saba County to Duward Fred and Mae Alene Patton Newby. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Edna loved to travel, fish, read books, hunt, decorate for Christmas and garden. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mamie Lee Lindsey, Bertha Mae Milton, Laurie Beecham, and her brother, John Floyd Newby. Survivors: Husband, Bobby L. Myers; daughter, Elisha Myers; son, Eric Myers; grandchildren, Jesica, Aaron, and Joshua Roper, and Laine Nicole Newby; nieces, Malena Lindsey and Patty Hurst; nephews, Scott Newby and David Hurst.
