Hello, greetings to the Flores family.
I was sharing a memory with my son Jonathan this morning of Dr Flores and his response to a need for translation. As managemnt agent for Richard Allen Villa Apartments in San Antonio, Texas, my husband Ben needed to make a bilingual English/ Spanish document available to all residents. Dr Flores was so kind to create tge translation. He warned us that it might meet the requirements of HUD, but would not likely meet the requirements of the residents. He was correct, It further highlighted their needs for additional services, years later, at least one of our sons was privileged to have Sharon as a teacher. Thanks to the Flores family for being an important part of our community.

Noé meant so much to so many who had the good fortune to know him, including fellow members of the Texas Association for Bilingual Ed, an organization he helped lead as president in the 1980s. He was the consummate professional, concerned about people (especially his students), and his university (Texas Wesleyan University) which he served so well for over 30 years. More important, Noé was deeply devoted to his children and beautiful wife, Sharon. Rest in Peace, Querido Amigo.

When the twins were in my fourth grade class, Noe would bring his guitar to class and teach the students songs. He always made our day better! Mrs. Brookman, J. P. Moore School. So sorry for your loss.
