Obituary of Donna Lynn Bourisaw

Donna Lynn Arseneau Bourisaw, 65, was gathered into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 24, 2015, she passed away peacefully at her home in Denton, Texas. She had endured life-threatening illnesses in recent years and survived many crises with her health. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 20, 1950, she was the daughter of John David (Jack) and Dorothy Arseneau of Fort Worth, Mansfield and Cedar Creek Lake. She grew up and attended schools in Mansfield, earned her certification to be an Emergency Medical Technician and later her physician's assistant license, and spent her adult life as a health-care provider. Donna was a joyful, beautiful woman with a funny, gravelly voice, an adorable face, and a sweet, warm personality for all those around her. She had a smile that melted anyone who engaged her, was affectionate, witty, and every ready to help. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jack Arseneau. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Arseneau of Fort Worth; her children Carl Lewis of Ada, Okla., and his children; Amy Stone and husband James of Kingston, Okla., and their children; sister Dianne Arseneau Cargill of Fort Worth and her children; brother Steve Clyde and wife Sharon of San Antonio; brother David Arseneau and wife Christina of Spring Branch, Tex.; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Donna was a beloved and precious member of our family, who loved her Savior Jesus Christ, and will be deeply mourned and lovingly remembered. She was Grammy to her grand and great grand children and Sugie to her niece and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Saginaw Church of Christ, 201 Western Ave, Saginaw TX 76179. The family has requested condolence gifts be made to the Saginaw Church of Christ in Donna's memory.
