Douglas R. Gadberry, 59, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, 317 W Ellison St, Burleson. Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation, 5429 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75240. Doug was born March 9, 1956 in Ada, Oklahoma to Robert and Reta Nickell Gadberry. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Doug loved to spend time with his family, and sitting on his rocker at the ranch. He was an avid TCU sports fan, and enjoyed travelling, fishing, and finding a good deal. Doug considered himself a musicologist. He was a life long entrepreneur and owner of many successful businesses. Doug will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille and Ken West and Chester and Delia Nickell. Survivors: Wife, Patti Gadberry; sons, Taylor Gadberry and wife Julia and Mason Gadberry and wife Meredith; grandson, Oliver Gadberry; parents, Robert and Reta Gadberry; brothers, Derek Gadberry and Darrell Gadberry; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
