Obituary of Ronald Philip Fisher

Ronald “Ronnie” Philip Fisher passed away April 18, 2022, at the age of 86, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ronnie was born May 3, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in both Fort Worth and Grandview, Texas. Ronnie graduated from Paschal Highschool and then went on to graduate from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 1965. Ronnie managed Chicotsky’s Package Store for over twenty years and retired from Skyline Industries in 2005.

Ronnie was married to the love of his life and wife of over 61 years, Nadine. Together they had three children, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Ronnie loved to fish, go to the “country”, garden, help his neighbors, the color blue, jalapenos, and spending time with family and friends.

Ronnie was predeceased by his mother, Helen Marie Fisher; and father, James T. Fisher “Papa Jimmy.”

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Nadine; his daughter, Catherine Fisher (husband Mark Walters); son, James Fisher (wife Sharon Walker); daughter Elizabeth Fisher; grandson, Bryon Pigg (wife Emily Wender); granddaughter, Amanda Lewis; great grandchildren, Christopher Lewis, Nicholas Lewis, Andrew Lewis (father Joshua Lewis), Helena Wender, Ira Wender; and brother Robert Fisher (wife Ethelyn);

A “Celebration of Life & Memorial Service” will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m, at Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76133.
