Lillie Belle was my teacher in fourth and fifth grade. She was the only teacher who ever had an impact on me. Ever. It was a plastic jump rope that blistered me when I went astray, which was often. Mostly she left me alone to read books. She allowed me to check them out of the SWAU library. That is where I learned everything, including how to make plastic explosives. Mark Hancock has nothing on me! I will miss her. She always knew my voice at church, even when she lost her eyesight.
