Obituary of Bonnie Vandevender

Bonnie Reynolds VanDevender, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, departed this life Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 and went to her heavenly home. Bonnie was born July 27, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Leon Myrie Spears and William Thomas Collett. Bonnie was blessed with artistic creativity and an eye for design and decorating. Bonnie kept her faith and Jesus close until the end, awaiting the great resurrection day. Bonnie is survived by her two daughters and their families: Cindi Reynolds Thomas and Mike, and Angel Reynolds Stewart and Scott, of Cleburne. Her three grandchildren, Caleb Rigsby and Courtney Rigsby Warren and Dustin, of Odessa and Anna Ruth Thomas, of Cleburne. Her great-grandchildren, Madalyne and Brody Warren, and Wyatt Worlow. Her sisters, Mary Grounds, of Abilene and Elaine Ross, of San Angelo; nephews, nieces, friends and faithful dog, Mollie. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas.
