Obituary of Marvin Gustav Kreuter

Marvin Gustav Kreuter passed away on May 18, 2021 after a brief hospital stay due to coronary complications. He was born in Cederburg, Wisconsin on June 10, 1922, and he grew up and attended school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1943 he interrupted his university studies to enlist in the Army Air Corp and was a pilot throughout the remainder of WWII. He then completed a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Marquette University in 1947. He arrived in Texas in 1953 to open a manufacturing plant for a company he joined after graduation. In 1965 he moved to Houston where he worked for a consulting firm and remained there until his retirement in 1990. He and his wife moved to Ft. Worth in 2019 to be near his daughter and her family. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Kreuter; his parents, Martha Schuable and George Kreuter; his sister, Lucille Greenwald; his son, Robert Baetz Kreuter; and his step-son, Craig Tebbet. He is survived by his present wife, Rita; his daughter, Andrea Rankin; his daughter-in-law Brenda Kreuter; his step-son Don and his wife Dawn; his step-daughter Hazel and her husband, Randy; as well as his grandchildren Adriane Massey and Garret Pendergrass; granddaughter Kathy Kreuter; his step grandchildren Marlo and Julia Donato; and one great granddaughter, Sage Pendergrass. Interment: 10:00am,Thursday June 24th,2021 at DFW Veterans Memorial Cemetary. Memorial Service: 11:30am,Thursday June 24th in the Leonard Chapel of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, Tx. In lieu of flowers, if anyone so desires, a donation can be made to the veterans at Hearing Loss Association of America. Their web-site is hearingloss.org .
