Obituary of Betty Sue Talley

Betty Talley passed away at home surrounded by family on February 18, 2021 @ 9:00pm at the age of 75 following a year-long battle with cancer. Betty is predeceased by her parents, Paul & Golda Bryan. Betty is survived by her loving devoted husband of 29 years Ed Talley. They were married in Colleyville on July 4, 1991. She is also survived by her children Greg Vance of Grapevine, TX, Tammie Stephens & husband Dale of Carrollton, TX, Michael Vance & wife Litza of Grapevine, TX, stepsons Edward Talley & wife Kim of Cedar Park, TX and Mark Talley & wife Loree of Rhome, TX. She was beloved “Mimi” to Grandchildren, Lindsey Vance, Meagan & Richelle Stephens, Mathew & Sophia Vance, Casey Talley, Jake & Holly McMackin, Ashtyn & Emilee Talley. Great Grandchildren, Liam Talley & Emmit McMackin. She was born Betty Sue Bryan on October 3, 1945 in Lepanto, AR. She was a strong, determined, and independent businesswoman. Betty was a licensed cosmetologist for many years and owned her own hair salons. In her retirement she enjoyed playing golf, bragging about how good she was at golf, watching golf on TV and anything else related to golf. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, being around her friends and family. She loved and was very proud of her grandkids, fully supporting as many activities that she could attend. She had a witty sense of humor, positive attitude and loved life! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
