Obituary of Shelby Jae Steele

Shelby Jae Steele, 22, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. She attended Mansfield High, Boles Jr. High, and Kennedale Jr. High. Shelby was an member of the Church of Rush Creek in Arlington, Texas. Shelby had many talents and one of them being art and drawing. She was incredibly smart and brought home A’s without even trying. Shelby enjoyed being with friends and family. It was very rare you would see her without a friend, if Shelby was not with a friend she had headphones on because she loved music, journaling, and reading more then anything. Shelby is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Dr. R. Ralph Nichols, Lillian Steele, and Robert (Bob) Steele. She is survived by her mother, Anita Ann Nichols; father, Donald Jay Steele; grandmother, Edith Louise Nichols; sisters, Breanna Nichole Steele, Stephanie Ann Steele Guajardo; brother, Robert Wayne Steele; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gathering of Family and Friends: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a service for close family and friends beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgewood Drive Fort Worth, Texas 76133.
